Membership in REPTL is available to all lawyers licensed to practice law in Texas and (on a non-voting basis) to all law students. REPTL's fiscal year runs from June 1 to May 31.

How to Join

(1) To join the section online, via a credit card, visit your MyBarPage on TexasBar.com. Click on “My Sections”, add Real Estate Probate and Trust Law” to your shopping cart, and follow the directions to pay by credit card; or,

(2) Download and print the Membership Application. Then send the Application Form and a check for $30 (payable to the State Bar of Texas) to Sections, State Bar of Texas, P.O. Box 12487, Austin, TX 78711-2487. (Our phone number is 800-204-2222, ext. 1420, and email is sections@texasbar.com)

The Importance of Membership Renewal

Each year we update our database of members from the State Bar's database. Those who were previously members of REPTL who have not paid dues for the new year (starting the previous June 1) will, through the database update, automatically be deleted from the members database. To be added back again, you must pay your dues to the state bar.
